Downsides of Webers? We had 3 of them.

They get stuck easy. They get UNstuck easy also.

Turning short can be a problem unless you use the steering wheel.

No reverse.

Tipovers can be a problem. They're not very stable.

Transporting them can be tricky...you should tow them slow.

Starting was like any B&S engine...you held your breath. Those were pre-Honda days also. I think we were still @ war w/the Japanese then.

It was nice to sit down & "walk" your beans. We bought ours "pre" roundup days. Then a couple of yrs later that miracle stuff came along called Roundup. We just used it in a squirt bottle @ first to kill vol corn. Wicks are OK, but hard to control, I think. When they get dirty, they're not as easy to control either.

We later turned 1 Weber Weeder into a small sprayer for plot work. Just made a boom for the back & powered the sprayer w/CO2.
