Have had the same experience's with cadet and roundup, cadet kills to fast and doesn't let the plant absorb the roundup.  I'm not sure if I'd add the cadet if it was free next time.  Obviosly alot of it worked for one guy and not the next.  Kinda like playing russian roulet with it, in my opinion.
