| I'm wondering if chemistries like cadet can't kill the weed pretty much buy itself it's a problem since uptake of the roundup may be hampered. However, roundup doesn't like to kill large broadleafs very well anyway. I used authorityfirst (roundup rate) down then roundup/cadet. I dropped the roundup rate a little since it was there to kill grass. In general I had good results. My problems were due to large weeds due to late planting and lots of rain. I probably should have sprayed the authorityfirst much earlier when I was spraying corn preplant to keep the weed size in check. As it turns out I would have had better performance from the volley atz if I had sprayed it pre-emerge.
