Just an RGB camera. I have an Autel drone which has been a solid bird. I'll upgrade to a drone with an ndvi camera when this drone eventually dies (or crashes).
The literature I've read suggests rgb is good enough because it's mainly pattern recognition against a database of images. The challenge is computing power and putting the right algorithms in place.
