Subject: RE: Three Corner Alfalfa Hoppers

I am located in central west TN in Haywood County about 30 miles west of Jackson. I have been farming in continuous no-till for 25 years.
At UTCrops.com, under soybean insect pests they say that the 3cah is "primarily a pest in reduced tillage situations." This fits my production practices to a tee. The recommended threshhold in TN is one hopper per sweep. I am used to spraying for green and brown stinkbugs in beans but this pest has popped up even when the stinkbug levels are low and don't justify spraying.
