Can't tell from your picture, whether the bolts that hold the sheet to the bracket use nuts on the bolts or if they screw into the tapped bracket. If they use nuts, I think the threads should be on the backside to keep rocks from making it hard to replace the shield. If they have to be put on with the threads facing forward, then I think a good blob of hot glue on the exposed threads might save some grief in the future.



The instruction sheet shows the nuts on the front side. That's the way I did it but I don't see any reason it couldn't be reversed.
