You cant put a phone number in a facebook add. If you do it gets blocked and just views as "hidden information".
You have to use facebook messenger to establish communication, then you can ask for a number if you want. It works good, I have not had any scammers contact me unlike craigslist, which is pretty much unusable anymore due too all the spam texts. Fake ads etc.
