Been out of the Holstein bottle calf game for a while but we used to make our own starter. 600# of a 32% all natural pellet, 700# of whole oats, and 700# of whole corn. Run it all in the mixer mill and climb up on top and pour liquid molasses in the top hatch while mixing.
