I watched the first video. I’ve never heard of anyone cultivate with no sway blocks.


I set our sway blocks loose. Ran single ribs on the cultivators and the tractor. Wanted the cultivator to be able to move sideways based on the stinger marks independent of the tractor. Takes a lot of tractor and weight to be able to actually hold a cultivator from moving sideways, especially loaded up with beet equipment the first pass. In our case, we were using an Orthman stabilizer disks on the back to keep the cultivator stable. Worked very well.
