No, no hub oil was ever changed prior to me owning the machine. New to me tractor last spring with 400hrs. Maintenance schedule in owners manual says 1000hrs. Pulled it in the shop to check it over closely and change all fluids and found this suprise.
Maybe I am over reacting and needlessly worried.
