North East Wimmera district of Victoria.

Yes there are!

But for most NAT' ers finding them involves flying to Australia, Melbourne in particular, then visiting country towns. My knowledge is local in the Nth West  of Victoria [where I live] and in the Nth East, places like Shepparton, Yackandandah, Violet town and many others.

As a "grey nomad" [caravanner] these bakeries are THE places to drop into for food. Pies. pasties. pastries, cream cakes, and Vanilla Slices.

My mouth is watering as I type.

The bush fires currently making world news will subside, so there's  an open invitation -- come and visit!
