I can't see where you would ever be able to justify the investment in reloading equipment with what you might save reloading pistol rounds, unless you shot many thousands of rounds per year, like if you were into competitive shooting and shot 100's per day.

Careful shopping can get new ammo for very little more than it would cost to reload. You might be able to save a little if you went to casting your own bullets.

It would have to be more of a hobby thing to justify. Years ago you could sorta justify reloading rifle rounds because you could get better accuracy, but factory ammo is so good these days that that argument no longer holds water.
