Are you able to get a consistent spread with just alfalfa and nurse crop? This farm is being transitioned to organic so we can't put any potash in.
Organic potash should be easily available. I either blow the seed on with the airflow if I like the seed bed prep or drill with a 13’ Great Plains end wheel drill. If blown on, I pull 2 rollers in tandem. If drilling, pretty easy to plant over 60 acres per day, so 270 acres will only be 4-5 days. |
