Subject: RE: john deere moldboard plow question

ecsd

I have a 2600 and had a 2800. The 2800 had variable width which was nice for finishing lands. They both had automatic reset. The 2800 had the high speed moldboards and my tractor could not pull it fast enough.  It wouldn't roll it all the way over and laid it on its side. The field didn't look very good and was rough when you went back over it with the disk. The 2600 doesn't have the variable width but has the slow speed moldboard. That plow does a beautiful job of plowing. I went and helped my neighbor plow a field. He had an Ih plow and you could tell where he went and where I went, the deere did a lot better job. His plow would leave the field wavy.
