GM has a department that deals with under hood appearance. When I supported the LS1 Upper intake / air management system that my company supplied we worked with these guys allot. I assume that they mostly are concerned about their flagship vehicles (Camaro / Corvette, etc.) Or the ones that all the owners like to show off the engine.
