Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | Have yet to see anything work as well as a Brillion, but my god they are slow.
If the ground is right, double spread with an airflow and roll it in. No harrows, it will bury it too deep in my experience. Just cultimulchers and ring rollers.
I saw a good trick this spring, neighbor had a field airflowed and then he came in and did the ends, around the house and all around the powerlines with a brillion. Probably could cut the rate back too, but his looked awesome. I was a little disappointed on mine where the operator had a row of poles along the road to dodge, and somewhat on the ends, even though they should have been 3x's the rate... Stand looks great now but the first month it looked a little sparse in places. | |
