I put a grass seeder on my 455 30’ the drill is 10 inch and I bought a 6” grass seeder. I roll before I plant then roll again after. I let alfalfa drop on top of the ground. For mixed stands I mix orchard grass with oats so 10” rows of orchard grass. It fills in in a year or two.
