midwest - 1/1/2020 21:34 The large rollers ( like what they roll planted soybeans with ) rather than harrows seem to be the go to finishing method now. Interesting. I've seen the "big" Brillions but have never seen anyone roll it in. Seems very cost effective and fast. I was considering planting 100 acres here and the thought of running our 12' seemed a little daunting. Yah, I know. I'm soft. I remember gramps doing 200 acres/year when I was a kid with a 10' and he didn't blink an eye. Took him just a few days but he was semi retired so what was the hurry :) |
