Back in the late 80's when I was going to UW-Madison, microwaves were not allowed in the dorm I was in. That didn't stop a bunch of us farm boys though. Most of us had ours hidden in our closets. I even went so far as to open mine up and disabled the "beeper" as our housefellow was located right across the hall. ;)
