South Central MN | I absolutely love the solid aisle. Keeps the walkway clean, and keeps pigs moving. When filling the barn they will run all the way to the end without stopping. When dumping they aren't trying to sniff all their neighbors walking down the aisle. If they do turn around it is much easier to turn them back the right way because the gates flex much more than steel gates. Airflow is parallel to the gates, so haven't had any issues there either. I can't think of any negative in a tunnel aside from cost and maybe durability. I can't imagine they'll last as long as steel but we will see.
I also really like having the air inlets directly over the aisle. They don't drip on the pigs and it is really easy to make changes if needed without having to go in every pen.
