Statesville, NC | MTD purchased Cub Cadet from IH when they needed some money in 1981, and have been building them since then. So the "good old" 682's and 782's, and 1210's and 1811's were built by MTD, even the red ones. MTD has owned Cub Cadet for 28 years, and it was an IH product for 20 years. They still make a good machine, you just can't compare a $2499 mower to a $7000 mower. The RZT series is not a commercial machine, but you would have a hard time finding a better zero turn machine for the money. | |
