West Central, IL | I don't know if that is the best statement. All I can say it you get what you pay for. The John Deere lawn tractor the same size as a Cub Cadet lawn tractor both sold at a box store for about the same price will last the same amount of time. I bought a new Cub Cadet 1 1/2 years ago. I used it to mow commercially and have put over 200 hours on it. The weakest point on the mower was the Kohler engine witch I had to get a new block put in because of a factory flaw and I didn't have to pay for that. I think for the money you can't beat it, I know that it is still worth over $1,000 dollars and I don' have $2,000 in it. It has worked out very well for my needs. I will be buying another "crappy MTD" mower next spring to help with some new lawns I got for my mowing business. | |
