Made it home ok and did not stop at any scales. There was construction on westbound 88 at Moline and the scales were closed. Went by the scales east of Council Bluffs at 6:30am and they werent open yet. Nothing from there west to Lincoln, Ne and down to Ks on hgwy 15. I really enjoyed looking at the corn and bean fields, and to me the crops looked great. The crops in Ill. were quite a bit behind the crops in western Iowa. Why the 55mph speed limit on trucks in Ill that no one obeys? Seems awful slow to me. What a great country we live in!!! Thats the most corn and beans I have ever seen.
