Mark, you didn't explain how that works. There are guys on here that have never heard of ground pto. The pto is geared to ground speed, whichever gear you're in depends how fast the pto runs. I had a neighbor that bought a new 65 MF and he bought a lister planter that the boxes ran off a pto shaft. Another neighbor jacked the rear wheel off the ground on a 65 MF and put it in low gear to auger grain into a tub grinder to slow the auger down.

I should add that the tractors also have the 540 pto.

Yes, we were using the ground PTO, just put the tractor in reverse and the PTO runs backward.....I'd plugged the agger with wet corn when I shut the PTO off too soon on the auger tractor. Pulled maybe a scoop shovel out with a pipe wrench (half hours worth)when I had the idea to try Fergy ....worked like a top.

When I was a kid, we pulled a New Idea hay conditioner with it because if you plugged the conditioner you could back the slug out.

A neighbor had a hay rake back then also, it was the only tool I was ever around that was actually made to be used with the ground drive PTO.
