no there isnt r'up ready tob. (i wish there was) we have certain chemicals we can spray before we set, and if that dosent control the weeds we have to go after them with a garden hoe.. we also cultivate to control the weeds so that the stalk dosent get too big... you do not want a big stalk because of the weight of the plant and if they are too big it is hard to cook the moisture out of it when we cure it in the barn
