AMS in the fall?

Just thinking out loud, not a strip tiller yet but will be giving it a whirl this fall, would ESN be a reasonable product to use. We do not have access to NH3 in our area and urea or AMS would be all gone before the seed is even planted in the strips at least in our area. And if you do spring strips instead of fall strips how long should you wait in between making strips and planting to avoid fertilizer burn.
