| BIL had a couple 5x18" 2600 plows back in the late '70s early '80s. I was running an IH 5x18" 710 at the time, still have the plow but it doesn't get used much anymore. I used his plows a couple times. I didn't think they were that bad of a plow but they seemed to leave more trash on top than my 710 did.
BTW, he pulled them with JD 4440s. Tractors seemed to get along ok with them in our heavy black ground but you wouldn't set any speed records with them. | |
