Subject: RE: On farm grain augers??

NW Iowa
I bought a new hold over wheatheart last yr, 13x84 with electric swing and hopper lift. It ran quiet and ate the corn (started at 26.5%) I love the hydraulic scissors lift over the cable. You can maximize the lift by not getting close to the bin with the undercarriage. I could drive between the auger and bin. I also noticed the auger didn't move on the bin when setting the auger while lowering the hopper. The first 5 foot raise takes more pressure then the rest. I had no problem running or lifting with a 1130 massey. My hydraulic pressure is set at 2300psi. I believe you need a minimum of 1850psi. Yes it's the same as westfield just with scissors lift. They are better than the previous series.
