So....can an On-Star vehicle be geographically tracked at any time by On-Star people? Can they see that a specific vehicle is sitting in a parking lot somewhere? Can a p-o'd wife find her husband thru On-Star? Do these things work from inside buildings? Or-parking garages? Or, dense tall building/tree surroundings?

Also-if you do your own oil changes, how would On-Star know your change mileage?

I wasn't sure On-Star was even sold north of the Mason-Dixon line. We hear all kinds of On-Star commercials, and the users do NOT sound as if they're from Minnesota or Oregon.
