Hey Clay,
Are you noticing that the aphids are lower where the Brix levels are higher? We've got some NK aphid resistant beans near Lake Ontario that are fending them off, even though the regular soys beside are coated. We needed some rain here, although my hay crop is getting older because of it.
We have a field in Port Perry that is covered in snails, has been for ast least 2 weeks. They are eating holes like sluggs. Are you getting this up there? I have never seen it, nor has Dr. Hume.
