Subject: RE: 24D Tolerate Soybeans?

Shelby County, Illinois
I know Monsanto is developing soybeans tolerant to Banvel that should be available in that time frame. I haven't heard of 2,4-D tolerance. I thought the Banvel tolerance would be good at first, but you will have to worry about drift just like spraying it in corn . A roundup plus Banvel spray would probably overcome any resistance problems.

Isn't it strange that they can make a soybean tolerant to Banvel, but on a lot of varieties they won't even approve of spraying it on corn.
