Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA,
Funny, around here it is the opposite. Waters of the state deal (=BULLshoot, watch out if Lake Lanier goes offlimits). We've used softhoses for years, ours are Paulks, but there are plenty of Rainbow soft hoses around here, not to mention Rainbow and Amadas Hardhoses. Hard Hoses are the way to go if possible, much nicer to set up and use and you don't have to leave a tractor on it for an anchor. Now, you will need to watch them, you will be getting up in the middle of the night shutting them off, and it will be time consuming, but a used system is cheap. Having said that, a pivot is the way to go. Take it for what it is worth.
