Subject: RE: Dorper Sheep vs. Katahdin Sheep

We did quite well with half St. Croix half dorper ewes with droper Rams. Make some real porkers. Sheep were much more profitable than cattle. Wish the country I am running in cattle I could switch over to sheep. I would in a heartbeat. Never were our pastures as clean as when we had sheep. But to get to a 500-700 ewe heard agian would take some time or alot of money.
