If you have concrete or asphalt to set your bale(s) on it would work good, dirt or mud, not so good
Grin - - - - well here - - - - I have poor man's concrete (frozen ground) for an easy about 5 months - - - that's definitely cheaper than concrete or asphalt - - - -grin
