i see people use it as a one year fix a lot, but most time they would be better off buying a lower amount of aglime and spreading it. There is nothing wrong with water treatment lime, it is some of the most effective lime out there. the problem usually exist in the spreading. big clumps laying in the field mean by the ft, some places receive no lime and some places can receive upwards of 6+ ton. The swing in micro environment can be huge.
