I know it’s been talked about before on a grinder but do most people leave the net wrap on when they put a bale of dry hay in a vertical mixer? I don’t really like the idea that man that would make things easier. Maybe


The consensus seems to be that the net wrap needs to come off.
What is done with bales where its straw form a rotary combine or hay with the baler using a cutter system or baleage done also using cutters?
The bales don't really hang together very well once the wrap is off in my experience.


They take off the net and use a grapple to grab the straw or hay or baleage.
