NW Illinois Stephenson county | I remember back in the early 70's in Ag class we viewed a FFA movie of the Four Star American Farmers for some year (I don't remember which). In it one of the Star Farmers had just built a new wood stave silo with the staves coming from the farm's wood lot. It was a dairy farm. A neighbor of mine has a small tile silo that they quit filling years ago. I hope your silo unloaders don't break down so you are allowed the pleasure of pitching the silage out! |
