Shawneetown Illinois | Deere tried squeezing too much power out of the 13.5 liter, had too many problems as a result, and now use a QSX Cummins in the highest horsepower tractors. Just because Deere sells a product doesn’t mean that it is worth a crap.

Fan issues on current 30 series and up
Replace water pump every 1500 hours on the 13.5 or risk destroying the engine. A bad design that has been unchanged since coming out in 1997!!
Virtually any disk that they have ever put out.
