Byron, WY | The ground was pretty wet when we cut. Seems like with the wide windrows you get more hay touching the wet ground and doesn't dry either. Most years we don't get this kind of rain. All of our 1st cutting got rained on at least once. We usually can get it put up with no rain. Also, we like the tight windrow because the hay stays greener. No green hay this cutting or I would have posted some pics. Might have to give the wide windrows a shot to see if 2nd will dry faster. Thanks | |
