| We are on our 7th season with a Meyer 1400 tower dryer. We absolutely love it. Just 2 days ago we went from 28% to 19 then back up to 24 in one day and the outgoing moisture fluctuated maybe half a point. Plus the quantum controller is bulletproof. Pretty sure the quantum runs off 80s computer technology but it does not glitch or crash ever.
And one bonus perk, ours is a 1400 meaning it does 1400 bushels/hr drying 5 points while cooling the exiting grain. If you choose to do full heat it’ll do 2000 an hour. They way undersell the capacity of it. It’s done 1800 taking off 5 points while cooling for us. We love the thing. | |
