Subject: RE: Gsi top dry system

north central Ohio
I have a 36’ 11 ring gsi put up in 2011. As stated already tracking moisture and chute plugging are my biggest complaint but definitely tolerable once you get used to it. I keep notes to track conditions and moisture and I can set it pretty close anymore. Big plus is one leg elevator and mine dries corn to the advertised rating. I figure about 7.5bu/g propane at 5 points and 5bu/g at 10 points. These dryers can really turn out the grain and with the storage seems to really make a good cheaper dryer per capacity. You can’t see it but there is a 24’ 12000bu wet bin in the middle and a 48’ 9 wide ring 55,000 bu on the right top dry left. Nice compact and room for expansion.
