| I worked for a valley dealer here in kansas for almost 3 years before i pursued other opportunities to end up back in kansas farming. I have worked on Valley, Reinke, Zimmatic, T&L, Lockwood and the occasional Raincat. I personally would go with a valley everytime new or used. however as was pointed out you have to have a good dealership with good guys and good parts service to keep you running. i do believe that valleys are the best by miles as far as dependability goes and even as quick repairs go. there as so many things that have changed over the years on the other machines like the reinkes had under pipe tower boxes which get water in them and its also hard to stand on the ladder and hold on with one hand and worth with the other. valleys have stayed pretty much the same on what they do as far as design and it seems to have been working out for them. little bit of a rant there but i really would go with a valley if i was you. new or used. | |
