Subject: What makes a tractor stop in mid-stride............

north central Oklahoma
Happened more than a couple times last week while planting and spraying. Tooling along, and it just stops dead in it's tracks, engine still at operating speed. No codes kicked out that I could get anyway. Once, the "TRANS" light flashed, then went off, still no code, the other times, it just quit. This on a '95 8200 FWA Deere. First time it happened, thoughts flash to hydraulic fluid leak of some massive proportion, but only low about 1 gallon.

To reset, I shut engine down, restarted and went back to my rat killing. Consult with Deere thinks maybe a high pressure switch of some kind. It's been in shop all week and still not in the bay, but they did say they would get it in today to at least fix A/C so I could finish spraying this weekend.

Anyone ever had this happen?
