A 1000lbs. is probably pretty close.

I think about 11 to 11.5 pounds a cubic foot would be close to accurate. More if you have a very tight bale and solid core. A little less if its a fixed chamber baler and you can put your hand in the side.

When figuring cubic footage remember to check the bale to see if they are full height or just 4'8'' or a full 5' or whatever. It does matter when figuring weight.
