| Nice looking Machine. Get an electric grease gun if you don't have one and also a Lexion grease coupler for it. As my combine tech told me, let the beans thresh the beans, set the sieves by setting them clear down, throw in a coffee can of beans in the back end, then open the sieves until they fall through, then open another millimeter or two which will put your setting very close. The fan on the Claas will blow everything out the back if you turn it up, so start low. On my axial flow on corn always ran the fan wide open, With the Lexion that will blow a lot out the back!!!! Fyi, I bought the bean APS grates for mine, for me in western Iowa, it was money wasted, I just shut the corn grates and get along great. With the bean grates open, I was getting lots of pods in the tank... GOOD LUCK! After you get that thing set, you'll love it! Except for the turning radius with an 8 row head.LOL | |
