FWIW There were a few guys around us that have grown non GMO beans within the past 3-5 years. They were all telling everyone we all need to be raising non GMO beans, but they all went back to GMO beans ! They claimed the chemical costs were high enough to offset most premiums and they claimed the non GMO beans had lower yields. They also had some contamination issues and ended up selling their some non GMO beans without any premiums. |
