Went to a parade July 4th, 2 guys across the street did not remove their hats until I barked loudly,"Take off your hat!!". They did then, and had a sheepish look on their face.

Sometimes they just need to be told.

I was taught flag etiquette when I was young, don't remember for sure if it was in school or Boy Scouts. I wonder if it is being taught today?
