I like their profit center where I can plug in my storage and trucking costs to determine what buyer and location is best for my crop sales. This has easily paid the membership fee.
They also have a feature that looks at all the yield data for each hybrid on each soil type to suggest the best hybrids for each farm. The seed companies have competing products but they only recommend their own products.
I have a non gmo corn contract with them this year that looks like it will add considerably to the bottom line.
They already have some knowledgeable crop insurance people. They hired some high caliber folks from the industry. Now they are adding several tools to help navigate the crop insurance options.
It’s like anything, you don’t just send them money and they make you money. Just like buying tools for the shop. You still have to turn the wrenches to make the investment pay off. | |
