Layers of 5. 5 high plus 4 to tie it on top. bottom layer has 1 down the middle. Then alternate the cross bale on the edge each layer. Easy to count. 29 bales a stack plus what you piled on the very front. Stacking In the barn we start on the outside edge and work toward the wall. Always interlocked outside row and packed it tight. Hate falling in holes.
