| Hey Guys,
I planted it on 12 inch rows with our John Deere 455 grain drills. Some people plant on 7.5 spacing with their No- till air drills. I'm starting to see a lot more people plant it on 30 inch rows with their planters. It likes a very hot climate and is one of the most drought tolerant plants there is. I have read it only needs 12 to 16 inches of water. There are not really any insects or animals that like it. It has really started getting more popular in my area in the last couple of years and most of the elevators in my area take it now. From what I understand, the majority of it goes to Japan since they use a lot of Sesame in their foods.
Thank you,
